Yonkers, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women's Soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of visiting Old Westbury on Sunday evening in its second Skyline Conference contest of the season. Junior goalkeeper
Kelly Hilly (Massapequa, N.Y.) finished the game with seven saves.

After playing a tightly contested and scoreless first 45 minutes, Old Westbury broke through with the eventual game winning goal in the 54
th minute. After being awarded a free-kick just outside of the box, the Panthers' Edania Martinez tucked a shot inside the left post at 53:56 for the deciding marker.

The Panthers would get an insurance goal just under 15 minutes later when JoAnna Kettell finished off her eighth goal of the season. She took a centering pass from the right wing off the foot of Jordan Schildt and deposited a shot in the back of the net at 68:02.

Kettell would tally for the second time in the game to close out the scoring in the 82
nd minute. She collected a turnover and maneuvered into the box to score her team leading ninth goal of the season at 81:09.

Old Westbury finished the evening with a 17-9 advantage in shots, including a 9-4 edge after halftime. The Panthers also took four of the five corner kicks awarded in the contest, including three in the opening stanza.

Mount Saint Vincent was led by two shots apiece from
Louisa Jamgochian (Olney, Md.),
Mandy D'Amico (Freehold, N.J.) and
Charlotte Barnham (London, England) on the night.

Hilly finished off the night with seven stops for Mount Saint Vincent and kept the game scoreless in the first half with six saves. Caitlin Thomas picked up the win for Old Westbury after making three saves on her way to the shutout.

With Sunday's loss, Mount Saint Vincent falls to 6-3 overall on the season and to 1-1 in Skyline Conference play. The Dolphins will be back in action again on Wednesday when they take to the road for a league matchup with Farmingdale State. Kick-off with the Rams is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
