Hall of Fame
The athletic department is delighted to select Jeri Faulkner as a member of the latest class of our Hall of Fame. Jeri’s impact both at the high school and collegiate level is unparalleled.Â
Jeri’s athletic career at The Mount was spent on the softball team, where she was lauded as a leader both on and off the field as well as a a standout athlete. Jeri also served as the college’s men’s and women’s volleyball coach for over a decade, where she helped groom her athletes for success on the court and in the real world.Â
Upon graduating from the College, Jeri landed a job as a teacher at Cardinal Spellman in the Bronx, where she has gone on to achieve tremendous success. Throughout her 40-plus years at Spellman, Jeri has served as a teacher, moderator, coach and dean, and was named the school’s principal in June. Jeri has also played the role of volleyball coach for the Pilots over the last 40 and has achieved over 500 career wins.Â
Jeri’s role in the lives of hundreds of students over the years is something we, as a department, view as an ideal nominee for our Hall of Fame.Â
