Women's Basketball Struggles On The Road vs. Hunter

Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. - The College of Mount Saint Vincent lost their second of two games in the new year, as the fell at the hands of Hunter College on Friday night by the score of 72-60. The non-conference loss put the Dolphins under .500 (5-6) on the year while the Hawks improved to 10-3. 

Despite dropping the contest, CMSV had three standout performances from their talents. Freshman Aria Rheams led all scorers with 19 points while continuing to impress on the glass (eight rebounds). The first-year player now averages nine points and nine rebounds this season. The veteran duo of Kelly Nola and Kelly Oliver also impressed on Friday. Nola, a senior, picked up 11 points with eight rebounds, five assists and three steals while the junior Oliver had 18 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Senior Kristen Merrell provided help off the bench with 10 points of her own.

With this game in the rearview mirror, the Dolphins will return to action on January 10 as they take on the Farmingdale Rams, their Skyline Conference foes.
