Riverdale, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women's Basketball team placed six players in double-figures and got a career-high 22 points from senior
Tanisha Montague (Brooklyn, N.Y.) on its way to its fifth straight win, a 99-66 triumph over Yeshiva. The five game winning streak is the longest for the Dolphins since an eight game stretch during the 2009-10 season.

Mount Saint Vincent would break a 6-6 tie on a
Christina Barone (Staten Island, N.Y.) basket in transition with 15:37 left in the first half to start a 16-2 run over 5:15 to pull in front 22-8. The Dolphins got in front by double-figures on a
Brittany Lee (Newton, N.J.) triple and closed the spurt with a pair of Montague free-throws at the 11:08 mark. The Dolphins forced Yeshiva into 10 turnovers over the run and held the Maccabees to 1-for-5 shooting.

The Dolphins would maintain a double digit lead the remainder of the day and moved in front by as many as 24 points in the first half on a
Theresa Carey (Hampton Bays, N.Y.) jumper with 2:10 left before the intermission. The Mount would carry a 50-35 lead into the break after the visitors closed the period on a 9-0 run in the final 1:59.

The Mount dominated inside in the opening 20 minutes, outscoring Yeshiva 32-14 in the paint. The Dolphins also held an 11-0 edge in second chance points and a 24-4 advantage in points off turnovers. Montague led three Mount Saint Vincent players in double-figures at the half with 14 points.

The visitors would get to within 13 points early in the second half on a Julia Owen jumper, but the Dolphins quickly spread its lead back out to 24 points after a 13-2 run over a 3:06 span. The Mount allowed just four Yeshiva shots over that stretch and went 6-for-8 from the floor to build the lead.

Sophomore
Nicole Oliver (Carmel, N.Y.) gave the Dolphins a game-high 40 point lead on a lay-in with 6:34 left in the game and the Dolphins matched the advantage two more times over the remainder of regulation; once on a
Desiree Rosa (Dumont, N.J.) bucket with 5:20 to play and once on a Rosa triple with 2:29 left to play.

Mount Saint Vincent shot 44.9-percent from the field in the game and has shot better than 40-percent from the field in each of its five games. Yeshiva shot 31.4-percent on the day overall and finished up 4-for-18 from three-point range.

Montague finished the contest 10-for-21 from the floor as she scored better than 20 points in a game for the first time in her career. She added three assists and three steals for the Mount in the win.
Brooke West (Hamilton, N.J.) also notched a career-high with 16 points on 5-for-8 shooting from the floor and a 6-for-8 effort from the free-throw line. She swiped three steals for the Mount.

Lee reached double-figures for the fourth straight game with 11 points to go along with five steals, while Carey followed up an 18 point performance on Thursday with 12 points, five assists and four steals on Sunday. Rosa and Oliver each scored 10 for the Mount with
Kelly Fraser (Staten Island, N.Y.) securing a team-high 10 rebounds to go along with three blocks.

Yeshiva received a game-high 31 points on 9-for-22 shooting and 10-for-11 shooting from the free-throw line from Haley David. Owen added 12 pints and three assists, while Rebecca Yoshor posted a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 22 rebounds.

The Dolphins held a convincing advantage in the paint on Sunday at 62-24 and in points off of miscues 41-15. The Dolphins forced 36 Yeshiva turnovers and have forced at least 30 miscues in a game in three straight outings.

Sunday's win moves Mount Saint Vincent to 5-0 overall on the season. The Dolphins will be off until they take part in the Cruizin' Classic in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. December 18-19. The Mount's first matchup will be with Randolph-Macon who is currently ranked #18 in the latest D3Hoops.com poll.Â
