Yonkers, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Soccer team wrapped up the 2013 regular season on Tuesday night with a 1-1 draw against visiting Farmingdale State. Freshman 
Kevin Jardines (South Gate, Calif.) tallied for the Mount, while classmate 
David Melchor (Los Angeles, Calif) registered 11 saves.
	 
	The game went scoreless for the first 41 minutes until Jardines broke into the scoring column at 41:18 after he chipped a ball over the keeper from inside the box for a 1-0 Mount Saint Vincent lead late in the opening stanza.
	 
	Mount Saint Vincent would head to the intermission with the one goal advantage despite being outshot 8-4 by the Rams in the first 45 minutes. Melchor was forced to make three saves for the Dolphins in the first half to keep the visitors off the scoreboard.
	 
	The Dolphins would hold off the Rams until the 69
th minute when they evened the score off a corner kick. J.T. Famularo took the corner for Farmingdale State and Matt Kirby cleaned up after a scramble in front to get the equalizer at 68:08.
	 
	Farmingdale State would outshoot the Mount 17-5 in the second half, but could not beat Melchor more than once. The rookie netminder made four saves in the second 45 minutes to get the Dolphins into extra time for the fourth time this season.
	 
	Both teams would have chances in the overtime periods, with Farmingdale State outshooting Mount Saint Vincent 8-6. Both netminders were equal to the task in extra time as both teams picked up a conference point in the standings.
	 
	Jardines led Mount Saint Vincent with 11 shots in the game, including six on goal. He was the only Mount Saint Vincent to record more than two attempts in the game and finished with all but four of the Dolphins' 15 shots.
	 
	Melchore rounded out the game with double figures in saves for the first time this season after posting a career-high 11 stops. Angelo Vitteritti also played a strong game and finished the night with nine stops for the Rams.
	 
	Farmingdale State closed the game with a 33-15 advantage in overall shots and a 12-10 edge in shots on goal. Corner Kick went the way of the Rams 5-3 and fouls in the contest were even at nine apiece.
	 
	Tuesday's draw closes the regular season for the Mount with a 12-5-2 overall record and a 3-5-1 mark in league play.
