Senior Katie Tucci scored a

Vincent players scored at least two points on the day, with
Katie Tucci (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) and
Erin Woerner (Kings Park, N.Y.) each finding the back of the cage four times.
After the two teams traded tallies over the first five minutes in the contest, Farmingdale St. would reel off seven straight goals until Woerner scored her first of the day at the 2:47 mark of the first half. From there the Rams would score three of the final five goals of the half to carry an 11-4 lead into the intermission.
Mount Saint Vincent would get more sustained offense in the second half, but would give up 10 more Farmingdale St goals to fall by the final nine goal decision. Tucci and Woerner would each score three times in the final 30 minutes to combine for six of the eight markers for the Dolphins. The four goal game marked a season-high for both players.
Tucci finished the game with four groundballs on Tuesday which was the team-high and Woerner went 3-for-3 on free position shots, including the final two goals of regulation. Kelly Martin (Stony Point, N.Y.) finished the day with a pair of goals and an assist to go along with a team-high four draw controls.
Senior net minder Jackie Horn (Setauket, N.Y.) made 14 saves in the contest, including eight stops in the first half. She also scooped three groundballs for the Dolphins. Farmingdale St. used a pair of goalies with Courtney Caden stopping eight Mount Saint Vincent shots before halftime.
The Rams had six players with multiple points, including Justine Rothar who scored four goals and assisted on five others. Emily Williams finished the day with seven markers and Kathy Waite found the back of the cage four times. Williams finished with seven groundballs and Waite won six draw controls for the Rams.
The loss drops Mount Saint Vincent to 1-4 overall on the season and to 1-2 in league play. The Dolphins will hit the field again on Saturday, April 10 when they travel to Sage. Opening draw with the Rams is set for 1:00 p.m.
