Riverdale, NY - There was no doubt Makenna Reekie got things done on the field - and now she proved that she does so in the classroom, too. 

The Dolphins starting goalkeeper was officially named the Skyline Conference's Scholar Athlete of the Year for the sport of women's lacrosse after posting a cumulative 3.86 GPA throughout her tenure at the University. The Tyngsboro, Massachusetts native and psychology major graduated in May, wrapping up a terrific career with the program. 

Reekie was named First Team All-Skyline in 2026 after leading the conference in saves and save percentage, and It was the second straight season she took home top honors at her position. Reekie completed her three year stint in Riverdale ranking third all time in saves (401), as well as fourth in save percentage and seventh in goals against average.
