Ciara Clarke (Warwick, NY) scored a game-high 12 points for the Mount, while
Edeana Martinez (Bronx, NY) led the team with six rebounds.
The Dolphins opened the game strong, scoring the first seven points. Sophomore Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, NY) scored the games first five points, while senior captain Kaitlin Burud (Red Hook, NY) capped off the run with a jumper just 1:40 into the contest.
Mount Saint Vincent would not trail in the game and opened its biggest lead of the half at 17-6 on a jumper by Ashley Farrow (Ocean, NJ) with 12:34 remaining in the opening period.
The Gators would tie the score for the only time in the contest with just under two minutes left in the half. Kerry O'Connor (Bethpage, NY) would give the Mount the lead back for good on a three-pointer with :50 left to go in the half.
Koerner led the Dolphins with nine points in the opening half, shooting 3-4 from long range. The team would shoot 9-27 from the floor, including 4-8 from behind the arc. The Dolphins would also force 13 Gator turnovers in the half.
Burud would push the lead 13 points with just over five minutes left in regulation on jump shot after a steal. Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, NY) would push the advantage to a game-high 14 points with a pair of free throws with :43 seconds remaining in the contest.
Percodani led the team with eight points in the half, while Clarke posted seven of her 12 in the final 20:00. She went 2-2 from the floor, with a three-pointer and a pair of free throws. The Mount shot 11-29 from the floor in the half and 12-16 from the charity stripe.
Joining Clarke in double-figures on the afternoon were Koerner and Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY) who each scored 11 points. Burud added eight points and five rebounds, while Percodani led the team with four assists.
Saturday marked the Dolphins final game of the semester. They will look to extend their winning streak to four games on December 29 when they host Yeshiva at 8:00 p.m.
