46 in the consolation game of the Chuck Resler Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Rochester. Sophomore Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY) was selected to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts over the two day event.

own a jumper to give the Dolphins a lead they would hold until Aracdia tied the score at 8-8 with 13:13 left to play in the first half.

Burud would give the Dolphins the lead back at 11-8 when she drained a three with 13:02 left in the period. Mount Saint Vincent would open a lead as big as 10 points in the first half on its way to a 27-19 advantage at the break.

For the first 20:00, the Dolphins shot just 7-29 from the field, including 3-8 from behind the arc. The Mount held a decisive advantage in rebounds at the break, holding a 26-19 edge in the category, including a 9-4 advantage on the offensive glass.

The two teams would trade baskets to open the second half, before Arcadia made a run to tie the score at 34-34 on a three pointer from Cynthia Rivera with just under 10:00 remaining in the game. The Dolphins took the lead for good with 9:28 to play when Heesemann converted a lay-up.

Burud had a game high 14 rebounds in the contest to go along with six points and four steals. Percondani added six assists and three steals to her 11 points, while Heesemann posted eight points, nine rebounds, a pair of assists and three blocks.

For the game, the Dolphins shot 16-54 from the field (.296), including 6-15 (.400) from three point range. From the foul line, the Mount went 18-32 (.563). Arcadia held the advantage in points in the paint for the game at 20-18, while the Mount converted 20 points off of Arcadia turnovers. The Dolphins also held the edge in second chance points at 11-9 in the contest.

The win improves the Dolphins record to 1-1 overall on the season. The Mount will return to action after the Thanksgiving holiday when it takes on the College of New Rochelle on November 28.
