Mount Saint Vincent fell to Sarah Lawrence in conference play, dropping the match despite a strong effort in doubles and a competitive showing at several singles flights.
The Dolphins were unable to secure the doubles point, falling at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, though the pairing of David Hoagland and Brennan Sherman picked up a 6-4 victory at No. 3 to prevent a sweep.
In singles action, Mount Saint Vincent was unable to find momentum, as Sarah Lawrence claimed all six flights. Luka Gelevski and Marti Senyer faced tough competition at the top of the lineup, while Hoagland, Sherman and Paul Simonet also battled but came up short in straight sets.
The Dolphins are next set to take on Manhattanville University.
