Farmingdale, NY - The University of Mount Saint Vincent endured a tough outing on the court, falling to Farmingdale State in a sweep on Saturday afternoon.
The Dolphins struggled to gain momentum in doubles play, dropping all three matches. The pairing of Luka Gelevski and Paul Simonet battled at the top spot, while David Hoagland and Brennan Sherman, along with Jonah Jones and Imran Khan, competed in the second and third positions. Farmingdale controlled each match to take the early advantage.
In singles, the Rams continued its dominance, winning all six flights in straight sets. Gelevski and Simonet led the lineup in the top two positions, while Hoagland, Sherman, Jones, and Khan rounded out the order. Despite the final scores, the Dolphins remained active throughout and continued to compete point-by-point against a strong opponent.
The Dolphins will return to the court on Sunday to challenge Marywood University.
