Parsons Becomes Fourth Player In Program History With 100 Points In Game Against Rams

Riverdale, NY - After a strong conference win over Purchase, the University of Mount Saint Vincent returned to Marillac Field for a Skyline showdown against a tough Farmingdale State College team. Despite looking to keep their winning ways in tact, the Dolphins ultimately fell to the Rams by the score of 20-4, dropping their overall record to 5-8 and conference mark to 2-4.

The end result may have not been the ideal outcome, but there was success on Marillac on Thursday. Junior attackman Isaac Parsons scored three of the team's four strikes while assisting on the other, giving him four points in the contest. That number gave Parsons 101 points in his brief career, joining Michael Shea '11, Rowan Frederick '12 and Patrick Nagy '21 as just the fourth Dolphin in program history to reach the triple digit mark.

Senior Ryan Jean-Pharuns recorded the other goal for UMSV, good for his 13th in his final season with the club. Sophomore Nathanial Simpson had a strong outing against Farmingdale; not only did he nearly half of his faceoff opportunities (six-for-13) but also led the Dolphins in ground balls with three. Defensive midfielder Donte Thornhill paced UMSV with a pair of caused turnovers while freshman Leland Perez added one to his season stat line. All four goaltenders on the roster got a look in net, with Max Mills leading the way with six saves.

The Dolphins will next head to King's Point for a showdown with the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Aprill 22.
