Bronxville, NY - After a tough conference loss to Manhattanville at home on Wednesday, the Dolphins have now returned to the win column after a commanding 20-point win over the Gryphons. Coach
Maria Nardulli saw twelve Dolphins score on Saturday in the team's ninth conference win of the season.
The Dolphins' defense caused havoc as they forced 27 turnovers and held the Gryphons to 27% shooting from the field. After a slow first quarter, the Dolphins picked up the pace in the second and went into the half with a 33-19 lead. UMSV came out strong and held Sarah Lawrence to only five third-quarter points. Every Dolphin was able to see the floor by the fourth quarter and they would come out on top 56-36.

JaKaia Lotz led the way for the Dolphins with an impressive 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Graduate student
Ashley Marrocco added 8 points along with 4 rebounds in just 10 minutes of action. Fellow graduate
Erin Smith led the Dolphins in assists with 7 and grabbed 4 steals.
The Dolphins will look to continue their winning ways as they take on St. Joseph's University-Brooklyn in a critical Skyline Conference showdown on February 11th inside the Sharp Center.
