Riverdale, NY - After coming off of a dominant win against Sarah Lawrence, the Dolphins picked up right where they left off. The Dolphins would come out with a 74-53 victory on Tuesday evening against St. Joseph's University-Brooklyn. The Dolphins had 10 players in the scoring column, four of which finished in double digits.

Maria Nardulli's Dolphins once again took pride on the defensive end holding the Bears to under 20% shooting from three the entire game. The Dolphins came out strong in the first quarter holding St. Joe's to just 8 points, while putting up 21 of their own. The Bears responded with 25 second-quarter points, however the Dolphins remained ahead going into halftime. Relentless defense from UMSV held the Bears to only 11 points in the third and 9 in the fourth.

Erin Smith led the Dolphins in scoring with 15 along with 5 assists, 3 rebounds and a pair of steals. Freshman
Grace Kennedy added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Graduate captain
Kayla Hanley filled up the stat sheet with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Sophomore
Michaela Ligon was the fourth Dolphin in double digits with a career-high 10 points and 9 rebounds.
