Riverdale, NY - The Dolphins closed out their 2025 campaign at home on Tuesday evening, a contest where they fell to Old Westbury three sets to one. The outcome, however, didn't deter the program from celebrating their final class, as both
Emma Contes and
Katherine Torres played in their final game for Mount Saint Vincent.
Both Contes and Torres were in the starting lineup for head coach
Joseph Chojnacki. Contes completed the game with four digs and a service ace while Torres added an ace and a dig of her own.
Olivia Dutzer,
Sophia Mandalakis,
Dominique Otranto and
Alyssa Padgett each had four kills in the game.
Stephanie Rodriguez completed her first season with the Dolphins with another double digit assist effort, giving her 456 on the year. She also led the way with eight digs and five service aces. Padgett also recorded 3.5 blocks while
Jessica Broderick had six digs.
The end of the season may have come, but the trajectory on the program is on its way up. After an improvement from a season ago and the return of all major players, the Dolphins are primed to return to the playoff picture come 2026.
