Riverdale, NY - The Dolphins offense has been on fire as of late - and Saturday was no different.
On the heels of two dominant wins against Mount Saint Mary and Lehman, UMSV welcomed Old Westbury to Riverdale for Senior Day. The team honored one of the most impressive classes to date, consisting of
Javiera Sanchez,
Dana DeDominicis,
Arianna Morales,
Victoria Gamarra,
Jasmine Hewitt, Emily Leger,
Shayla Hassler,
Emily Toepfer,
Kadence Gonzalez and
Shalyn Pryor. The team continued to pour shots into the net, wininng by the score of 7-0.
The team has won their last three games by a combined score of 21-0. They're now 9-2-2 with the final strech of the regular season on the horizon.
The Dolphins worked the ball all over the field before converting their scoring chances. UMSV would score three goals over the final five minutes of the first half, with
Aiyanna Robles Sedano opening the scoring with her sixth goal of 2025, while fellow transfer
Kerrigyn Lynam scored a pair of her own.
Dana DeDominicis,
Ariana Hernandez and
Eva Puentes were credited with assists.
The second half continued the theme of dominance. The Dolphins would score four unanswered goals over the course of the second half, with Claire Elliot scoring two while
Kadence Gonzalez and
Caroline Gomes added scores to their 2025 stat line. DeDomincis added her second helper of the afternoon while
Brittany Boyle and
Michelle Zuniga had assists as well.
Javiera Sanchez and
Kaitlyn Grady split time and yet and didn't see a shot reach them.
The Dolphins return to Marillac Field on Wednesday with an impressive showdown with Manhattanville on the docket.
