Old Westbury, NY - It may have been the University of Mount Saint Vincent's first road matchup, but they picked up right where they left off at home. The Dolphins walked into Old Westbury without a loss and exited the field undefeated, as UMSV walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Panthers. 

The standout freshmen class continued to do so. First year Dolphins William Sornin, Javier Trujillo and Marti Senyer each scored goals in the win. 

It was a tremendous first half for a UMSV offense that has gotten off to hot starts in nearly every contest. Sornin cashed in on an early shot attempt at the 4:11 mark, good for his fourth goal of the season, to give his team the early advantage. The Dolphins would take nine total shots in the first half. 

Just 20 minutes after Sornin, it was Trujillo's turn to strike, with his seventh goal of the season extending his team-lead. Trevor Pegg notched the helper in the game's second goal. Marti Senyer would cap off the first half scoring surge with a goal at the 39 minute mark, eventually putting the Panthers away for good. 

The Dolphins defense would allow just three shots to reach goal, with keepers Samuel Reine and Miguel Fierro, who split time in net, saving each that reached them. 

UMSV returns to Marillac Field on Tuesday for a matchup with Manhattanville University, serving as a rematch of the 2023 Skyline Conference semifinal game.
