Brooklyn, NY - It may have taken an extra period, but the Dolphins secured win number two.
The University of Mount Saint Vincent's men's basketball team secured their second win in as many games on Thursday night. They traveled to Brooklyn College to take on the Bulldogs and emerged victorious in overtime by the score 80-78, a win that featured a balanced offensive attack by the Dolphins.
UMSV is now 2-3 through five games this season.

James Mooney continued to see tremendous production from his starting unit. Top returner
DJ Tucker continues to be a talent that does it all for his team, as evidenced by his impressive, balanced box score. The Boynton Beach, Florida native got it done on both ends of the floor, finishing the contest with 12 points, seven boards, six assists, two blocks and two steals. Tucker's assists total was tied for a team high with
Kevin Agyemang, who also had a strong night for the Dolphins. The guard, who is known for his scoring ability, not only scored 18 points on seven-of-13 shooting, but also had seven rebounds, six assists and four steals of his own.
But it wasn't just the returners who got things done in the victory. Transfer juniors
Max DePina and
Josiah Basket were equally as important behind the team's success.
DePina led all Dolphins with 20 points while continuing his efficiency from three. DePina went three-of-four from beyond the arc, improving his season avergae to 73% from that range. The big also had a team-best nine boards and three blocks. Basket poured in 15 points of his own with five boards, four steals and two assists.
Sophomore guard
Connor Wein provided valuable minutes off the bench six points, four assists and three boards senior
Adrian Rraci three points, four assists and three rebounds of his own.
The Dolphins have a showdown with the Pratt Institute scheduled for December 5.
