Brooklyn, NY - The College of Mount Saint Vincent's women's volleyball team dominated the competition for the second straight game as they cruised to a victory over York College on Thursday evening. The Dolphins allowed just 20 total points over three sets and saw contributions from all over their roster.
Six different Dolphins had three or more kills, with freshman
Adelina Elezaj leading the way with six. The Bronx, New York native also added seven service aces, good for 13 points. Senior
Elizabeth Flores and freshman
Dominique Otranto had four apiece, while senior libero
Isabella Garcia recorded a career-high three kills of her own.
The success didn't end there.
Nicole Sullivan continued the strong start to her collegiate career, posting a game-high 21 assists.
Emma Contes added a game high seven digs, and
Jocelyn Castro collected three kills, three services aces and two assists in the victory.Â
Head coach
Marcus Davila and the Dolphins will remain on the road this coming weekend. The team will head to Massachusetts Saturday morning to compete in a tri-match against Smith College and Simmons University. Â
