Brooklyn, NY - After downing St. Joseph's University Brooklyn this past Saturday, the College of Mount Saint Vincent's men's volleyball team was back in action against the Bears on Thursday evening. And just like over the weekend, the Dolphins emerged victorious, defeating the Bears in consecutive sets while improving their conference record to 2-1 thus far.
CMSV handedly defeated St. Joe's by six points in the first set. To the Bears' credit, they went toe-to-toe with the Dolphins for the remainder of the match, but the Dolphins put the finishing touches on the win by taking set two 25-23 and set three 26-24.Â

Terence Strehle stepped up on the outside for the third straight game and rewarded his coach's decision, tying for a team-high eight kills. Jame Rose and
Kevin Erhand also impressed with eight and seven kills apiece, as the trio of hitters continue to step up for the Dolphins. Senior
Pat Ilardi set up his teammates all game long with a game-high 25 assists while reigning Skyline Conference Libero of the Week
Felix Paulino added 12 digs. Senior
Samuel Martinez also had a big night for the Dolphins with four service aces and four blocks.Â
The Dolphins - now 5-9 overall this year - will continue their stretch of Skyline contests this weekend. They'll head out to Long Island to take on St. Joseph's University and Purchase College in a tri-match.Â
