Mahwah, NJ - The College of Mount Saint Vincent's volleyball team took their talents to Mahwah on Tuesday evening, challenging Ramapo College for the second and final time in the 2023 regular season. The contest finished the same way it did the last time both teams met, with the Roadrunners emerging victorious by the scores of 25-19, 25-7 and 25-12. The loss brought CMSV's conference record to 6-5 with three games left on the slate.
The Dolphins were only able to generate 16 total kills over the course of three sets. Despite the offensive struggles, the team's top hitters were able to shine.
Terence Strehle furthered his strong final season in Riverdale with a team-high six kills to go along with 10 digs. Sophomore
James Rose had four of his own while
Kyle Thompson,
Samuel Martinez and
Olatomiwa Ibitayo combined for the remaining six.
Kevin Erhand once again stepped up in the setter role, registering 13 assists, far and away the most on the Dolphins.
Felix Paulino's seven digs on the evening gave him 239 for the season, good for third on the Skyline Conference leaderboards.
The Dolphins will look to right the ship on Thursday when they're once again on the road, this time facing off against Yeshiva University.
