Jersey City, NJ - After an impressive outing against New Jersey City University on Thursday, the College of Mount Saint Vincent's took on the Gothic Knights and Sarah Lawrence College in a Skyline Conference tri-match. The Dolphins would go on to defeat the Gryphons in four sets before dropping their game to NJCU in three.
CMSV's 6-4 conference record has the team firmly secured in fourth place in the playoff race.
Junior hitter
James Rose had a massive day across both games. The Manorville, New York native registered nine kills against Sarah Lawrence before leading the way against NJCU with 11, good for an even 20 on the day.
Samuel Martinez led the way against the Gryphons with 13 kills of his own while
Terence Strehle had 15 across both games.
Olatomiwa Ibitayo had five kills against the Gothic Knights as well.
Kevin Erhand had 19 assists in each of the two games with
Felix Paulino collecting 21 digs across seven sets.
The Dolphins string of conference matchups continues, with Tuesday's matchup taking place on the road against Ramapo College.
