Mahwan, New Jersey- The CMSV men's volleyball team traveled across the bridge to take on the Roadrunners of Ramapo College. The Dolphins gave it their all, but ultimately fell in three sets.
The Dolphins looked to get back in the conference win column against the Roadrunners, but the offensive struggles led them to another loss. The first set saw kills from sophomore Kyle Thompson and freshman Shane Stein, but that was the only offense for CMSV.
The second set was a turnaround for the Dolphins as they got off to an early two point lead over the Roadrunners, but a 12-0 run by Ramapo proved to be too much for CMSV to overcome. Thompson notched three kills in the set.
The Dolphins continued to trend in the right direction in the final set scoring the most of the match, but a 9-0 run by the Roadrunners was too much for the Dolphins to vanquish.
Thompson finished the match with six kills to lead the Dolphin offense. Senior Miguel Losa and junior Terence Strehle combined for 11 assists.
The Dolphins will look to keep their playoff hopes alive as they need to defeat Yeshiva University on Sunday March 27th and Sarah Lawrence College Tuesday night to stay alive.
