Wayne, NJ - The College of Mount Saint Vincent's women's volleyball team traveled to New Jersey on Saturday morning, looking to return to the win column as they faced off against William Paterson University and FDU-Florham in a non-conference tri-match. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they dropped both contests, bringing their overall record 2-7 on the year.
Despite the losses, the Dolphins continued to grow as a team.
Melanieann Broderick was the team's top hitter through both games, as she collected 21 kills in six sets, which gives her a team-high 92 through nine games this season.
Elizabeth Flores was all over the stat sheet on Saturday, with the outside hitter adding 18 sigs, 15 kills, three aces and a block for CMSV. Libero
Isabella Garcia impressed in her role, digging an even 40 balls while dishing out five assists for her team while
Lydia Aryee added 28 assists of her own.
CMSV will now be fully entrenched in conference play, starting on Monday when they host Farmingdale State.
