Riverdale, NY – The women's basketball team saw their winning ways continue at home on Thursday evening. The Dolphins played host to St. Joseph's College – Brooklyn and won their fourth straight contest by the score of 68-59.
CMSV remains undefeated in the new year and improved their Skyline Conference record to 7-3. The
Phil Stern-led squad is 9-3 overall thus far.
The Dolphins were a step ahead of the Bears for the duration of the first half, as they never trailed at any point and led by as much as 11. CMSV had a balanced offensive attack, with seven different Dolphins scoring over the first 20 minutes of play.
St. Joe's battled valiantly throughout the contest, especially in the fourth quarter, as they cut the Dolphins' lead to single digits. Clutch free throws in the final minutes from both
Amber Been and

Hanley had her first big offensive performance with her new team, scoring a team-high 19 points while also adding five boards. Been once again was all over the stat sheet with 14 points, 10 rebounds and four assists of her own.
Bigs

Melanieann Broderick combined for 22 points and 13 rebounds while
Kira Villegas led the way with six assists.
Next up for the Dolphins will be Skyline Conference leaders Mount Saint Mary College. CMSV will play host to the Knights this coming Saturday.
