Riverdale, NY - The Dolphins were victorious in their second straight Skyline Conference matchup, as they emerged the winners over St. Joe's Brooklyn in an evening affair inside the Peter Jay Sharp Center on Tuesday night. The win brings CMSV to 5-4 against the conference.
The Bears didn't leave Riverdale without a fight. After the Dolphins took the first two sets, St. Joe's Brooklyn took set three by 10 points. It was then when CMSV put their collective foot on the gas pedal and won the fourth set.
Freshman
Lydia Aryee had her second consecutive strong contest, with the first-year hitting pacing the team in kills, tied for her career high. She also did her part on the defensive end of the game with a team-high four blocks. Seniors
Rianna Rivera and
Lindsay DeBoer did their parts, collecting seven kills apiece.
Madison Gale and
Brianna Ayuso set the table for the Dolphins, with both players combining for 31 assists.
Samantha Schroeder was also a standout on defense with 21 digs.
