Riverdale, NY - The College of Mount Saint Vincent's men's volleyball team was back on the Peter Jay Sharp Center court for the second straight game on Saturday for the second straight game, this time hosting York College. The Dolphins were looking to get in the win column for the first time this season.

The first set featured an even matchup between both the Dolphins and Cardinals. Both teams traded points over the first 23 serves, with the score being 12-11 in favor of the Dolphins at that point. Over that span, both Felix Paulino and Padelis Astrinidis paced their team with two kills apiece. The back and forth continued from there, with the largest lead belonging to York by just two points. It was once again a tight battle in the second set, with both sides going back and forth on the scoreboard, but it once again resulted in a York victory. The Cardinals stepped up their game in the third set, exploding for six straight points before the Dolphins could answer with one of their own.

From there, the Dolphins picked up their pace by putting up four points of their own to make it a 11-6 set. But it was once again York who turned up their attack, rattling 14 points to the Dolphins' five to secure the sweep.

Freshman Terence Strehle paced the team with five kills. Paulino, Astrinidis and Christian Santiago combined for 11 of their own. Setter Miguel Losa once again impressed with 14 assists while both Strehle and Santiago had five digs each.
