Riverdale, NY - The women's volleyball team was back in action on Wednesday night as they took on conference rival Old Westbury. The Dolphins were looking to go on a three game winning streak for the second time this season as well as improve to 3-0 in conference play. This is just what they did, cruising to a sweep over the Panthers. (25-11, 25-19, 25-16)

For the Dolphins, it was another team effort. CMSV saw nine members of their team register a kill. Tara Maloney led the way with 12, and Dez Brown and Samantha Schroeder were next in line with eight kills apiece. Sayde McDermott had arguably her best serving performance of her career, recording four service aces on the day. On the defensive end, the Dolphins were all over the court, recording 27 digs and only allowing 12 kills on the night. Alexandra Rio led the defensive charge with seven digs. The women will look to continue their winning streak next Tuesday.

CMSV will now have a week off before taking on Medgar Evers in non-conference action right back here at the Peter Jay Sharp Center. The Dolphins currently sit at an 9-5 overall record and a 3-0 Skyline Conference record.
