Riverdale, NY - The Men's Soccer team finally took their home field on Saturday afternoon when they took on TCNJ in non-conference action. The Men were looking to win their second straight game and improve to 2-4 on the season. After 90 minutes of play they came short of doing so losing by a final score of 3-1.

The game was a back and forth affair that saw both offenses creating multiple opportunities. TCNJ would break through first on a counter attack to take a 1-0 lead. That would be all the scoring in the first half as the Dolphins defense of Khari Greene, Lizardo Tamaura and Luciano Cirelli would lock down the back line.

TCNJ would come out and score the first goal of the second half in the 56^th minute, a goal that the fans might deflate the Dolphins but it did just the opposite. The Dolphins offense would generate a wealth of shots and finally Sory Konate would find the back of the net of the assist from Luke St. Denis. Now trailing only 2-1 the Dolphins could taste a comeback. CMSV would continue to threaten but then TCNJ would draw a foul in the box and connect on a penalty kick to take a 3-1 lead, that would be the dagger. Another loss for the Dolphins but this young team continues to grow up right before our eyes.

CMSV will be back in action on Monday as they travel to NJCU to take on another NJAC opponent. The men will be looking to get back to their winning ways. CMSV now sits at an overall record of 1-5.
