History
The College of Mount Saint Vincent and Farmingdale State College have been Skyline Conference foes for over a decade, with the two squads battling it out both during the regular season and postseason on numerous occasions. The Rams have gotten the better of the Dolphins over the last five seasons, with Farmingdale taking seven of 10 regular season games while winning three of the last four games when they've met in the Skyline Conference Playoffs. The Dolphins, however, got the better of their opponents at this time one year ago when they defeated the third-ranked Rams by the score of 6-3.

Players to Watch
The Dolphins saw major contributions from three key players in their first round matchup against St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn on Wednesday, as the trio of Sophia Herrera, Taylor Milata and Alanna Alioto-Reyes added two hits each to the stat sheet. The three continued their strong regular season into the postseason, as Herrera (.330 BA), Milata (.371 BA) and Alioto-Reyes (.337 BA) ranked in the top five for CMSV in terms of offensive production. They'll also turn to senior leader and offensive standout Katie Moos for help. Throughout the regular season, Moos had an impressive .404 batting average in 36 games this season while also pacing her team in on-base percentage (.472) and rounding out the top three in slugging percentage (.541) in the 2019 season. Coach Richard Vaccaro will also seek help from the rest of the starting lineup, including Erin Patterson, Abigail Laurendeau, Breeze-Lyn Morita and Deanna Nardi, amongst others. At press time, it's unknown who will take the mound for the Dolphins, but both Hannah Thompson and Kayla Pagano found success agains the Bears on Wednesday evening and are expected to throw against the Rams today. Kimberly Medina, who posted a 2.65 ERA and had 22 strikeouts in 37 innings of work may also be an option for CMSV.
