History
The College of Mount Saint Vincent and The Bears of St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn have a long history as they are conference rivals. This past season, the Dolphins split with the Bears, winning one contest 11-6 and falling in the other 1-0. Over the past ten games played against one another, the Bears have taken seven of those games. Heading into the playoffs, the Dolphins have won eight of their last 12 and will be coming in on a high note. Of these eight wins, the Dolphins have beat two of the conference's top teams in Mount Saint Mary and St. Joseph's College-Long Island. An impressive statistic this season for the Dolphins is that they are sporting a +22 run differential verse Skyline Conference opponents.

Players to Watch
The Dolphins, who are fourth in the conference in extra base hits this season, have an extremely talented lineup with the potential to explode on the offensive end. Leading this offense is senior captain Katie Moos, who had an unbelievable senior campaign. She's fourth in the conference in hits with 42, and of these 42, nine were doubles, as well as one triple and one home run. Moos does not only do it on the offensive end, as she also has a .993 fielding percentage and has 140 putouts on the season. Next in line for the impressive offense is junior Taylor Milata. Milata registered 34 hits in just 29 games played, 11 of which were doubles, putting her fourth in the conference for two base hits this season. The Dolphins offense has many other key contributors, including Sophia HerreraAbigail Laurendeau, Alanna Alioto-Reyes, Breeze-Lyn Morita and Erin Patterson, all of whom have recorded over 20 hits on the season. On the defensive end, the Dolphins will go through Hannah Thompson as they have all year long. Thompson has impressed on the mound, winning seven games and striking out 63 batters which is good for second in the conference. Aside from Thompson, the Dolphins will look to Kimberly Medina, who has impressed with a 2.46 ERA and three wins of her own. If the Dolphins want to make a deep run in the playoffs these players will need to be on top of their game.
