History
The College of Mount Saint Vincent had lost 15 straight contests against The College of Old Westbury up until this year, when they swept the Panthers on two walk off hits on March 24, both off the bat of freshman Eric Zimmermann. Despite losing their last four contests, CMSV is heading into playoffs for the first time in five years. The Dolphins have completely turned the baseball program upside down this season and are looking to continue to create history with a playoff victory.

Players to Watch
The Dolphins offense has been unreal all season long. The team boasts an overall batting average of .302 which has them at second overall in the conference. On top of the average numbers, the Dolphins have hit 72 doubles (tied for first in the Skyline Conference) 12 triples (third in Skyline Conference) and seven home runs (fourth in Skyline Conference). Leading the charge of this impressive offensive season are two freshmen: Michael Grisanti and Jake Blinstrub. The two first year players are all over the Skyline Conference leader boards. Blinstrub sits at third in the conference with 55 hits and Grisanti is right behind in fourth with 49 hits. The two also sit at first and second for doubles this season, as Blinstrub is at 14, with Grisanti having 13 of his own. Aside from Grisanti and Blinstrub, the Dolphins lineup features Matt DiNorcia and Anthony Nocero. who have each recorded over 40 hits this season. While these four have had tremendous seasons, the high powered offense does not stop here, as the Dolphins lineup has five more batters who have recorded 20+ hits with Zimmermann, Isidoros Bartziokas, Matt Albert, Zachary Saunders and Nick Saranczak. On the defensive end, the Dolphins will look to Peter Sanderson, Tyler Reyes, Amir Nitowksi, Jermey Glazer and Tommy Sharfetz to produce on the mound as they have all year long.
