Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. - Before Saturday's action, the athletic department took time out to honor eight seniors for their contributions to the men's lacrosse program over the last four years. Unfortunately, the Dolphins couldn't capitalize on the pregame festivities, as they lost to conference-rival Mount Saint Mary College by the score of 22-5. The team is now 1-8 on the year, which includes an 0-5 mark against Skyline opponents.
Despite the loss, there were some positives that took place on Athletic Field. Senior
James Fitzgerald scored his seventh goal of the season, which gives him a team-high 14 points this season. On top of his production on offense, the two ground balls he scooped up gave him an even 100 for his career.
Jaiden Martinez added two more goals to his stat sheet, giving him six on the year, while both
Nana-Kofi Agyekum and
David Collins scored as well.
As the season coms to a close, the Dolphins will look to return to the win column on Monday when they head to Pennsylvania to take on Keystone College.
