Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. - Despite starting the season with a lopsided 4-10 record, the College of Mount Saint Vincent's men's volleyball team turned their attention to Skyline Conference opponents on Thursday evening when Yeshiva University visited the Sharp Center. The Dolphins played like a team who was ranked first in preseason polls, as they handedly defeated the Maccabees by the score of 3-0. CMSV improved their record to 5-10 through 15 games.
With each set going 25-10, 25-16 and 25-17 in favor of the Dolphins, there were a number of standout performers for the home team. Senior
Neven Skoblar was once again a key contributor for CMSV, as he totaled 14 kills, 11 aces and eight digs - all game-highs - while also contributing two blocks.
Logan Dickover tallied an impressive 30 assists, while
Scott Sawyer had eight kills and two blocks of his own.
The Dolphins will look to continue their winnings ways this weekend, as they travel to St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn for a Skyline Conference tri-match with the Bears and Purchase College.
