Box Score Riverdale, N.Y. - With weather issues behind them, the College of Mount Saint Vincent's men's lacrosse team finally suited up in their home uniforms on Saturday evening when they took on the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Gaelic Park. Unfortunately, the task was too tall for the Dolphins, as they fell to the Mariners by the score of 20-3.
From the first whistle until the last, USMMA was too much to overcome. They started the game scoring three straight goals, with the Dolphins' second tally coming with the Mariners up by 15. As a whole, Merchant Marine outshot CMSV, 51-23, won 23 of 27 face-offs and won the ground ball battle 44-15.

Thomas Hanley scored his team-best seventh goal of 2018, while senior defenseman
James Fitzgerald added one goal, four ground balls and three caused turnovers to his season totals.
Anthony Pedatella was the third Dolphin to register a goal. Defenseman

Nick DiStefano had impressive games alongside Fitzgerald, as they combined for four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
With the loss, CMSV falls to an even .500 on the season, with an 0-1 record against Skyline Conference competition. The team will look to rebound on the road on Monday when they travel to New Haven, Connecticut to take on Albertus Magnus College.
