 How It Happened
  • The Dolphins were looking to enter the playoffs on a high note and that is just what they did. CMSV was firing on all cylinders in their 7-0 win over Yeshiva.
  • The defense was stellar throughout the contest, only allowing Yeshiva to produce one shot the whole match.
  • CMSV scored six of its seven goals in the first half. Freshman sensation Cristina Britton tallied three of the goals, Britton also added an assist, bringing her season totals to eight goals and five assists, Britton leads the team in both categories.
  • Britton was not the only one to have a multiple goal outing. Junior Amy Cohen tallied two goals of her own and got her season total up to seven. Cohen has now scored in two consecutive contests.
  • Julia Leggett and Christine Laskowski added the other two goals for the Dolphins, both of which were the first of the season. For Laskowski, it was the first goal of her collegiate career.
  • This was a picture-perfect ending to their season. They have now seemed to have found their offensive rhythm just in time for the postseason. The Dolphins are the sixth seed for the Skyline Conference playoffs.
 What's Next?

The Dolphins are now into the postseason. They travel to Patchogue, Long Island to take on St. Joseph's College on October 28. CMSV is looking to make a run in this playoffs and make it back to the semifinals like they did a year ago. The team wraps up their season with an overall record of 5-9-1 and a Skyline record of 4-5.
