NEW HAVEN, CT - The CMSV Women's Lacrosse team returned to action on Thursday night, traveling to Connecticut to take on non-conference foe, Albertus Magnus. The Dolphins had seven players score, en route to an 8-3 victory, pushing the Dolphins record to 2-12 on the season.
Amy Cohen, led the Mount with her first career multi-goal game, as the freshman recorded two goals on the evening.
Alicia Forgione, Meghan Cleary,
Meg Merrell,
Georgiana Trizano and
Shannon Dalton all scored one goal for CMSV.

Gabriella Marinese stopped eight shots, to earn her 2nd career win between the pipes. The Dolphins won the battle, out shooting the Falcons 29-16 and had a +4 advantage in ground ball pickups.
After falling behind 1-0 less than six minutes into action, the Mount would close out the 1st half scoring the final four goals, to take a 4-1 lead at halftime.
Cleary scored her first goal of the season, off a pass from Forgione, who collected two assists on the night, to put CMSV ahead 5-1 just over five minutes into action in the 2nd half.
Forgione and Cohen would also score in the 2nd half, with Cohen's second of the night coming while the Dolphins were on the man-advantage.
