Dolphins Swept By Purchase In Skyline DH

McEwan has 2 RBIs



PURCHASE, NY - The CMSV Baseball team returned to the diamond on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Skyline foe Purchase College, to host the Panthers in a conference doubleheader. The Dolphins dropped game one 8-2, then lost in 10 innings in game two, 9-3.

Game One Notes:

Robert Negron started for the Dolphins, going 6.1 innings, giving up six runs (four earned) with seven strikeouts.

Dolphins first run came in 3rd inning on a single to left field by John T McEwan.

James Valenti & Honorio Pena each had a double

Game was tied 1-1 after 5 innings, Panthers scored seven runs in the 6th, 7th and 8th innings.

Game Two Notes

Jeremy Glazer started for the Dolphins and went 5.1 innings, allowing six hits and two earned runs. 

McEwan was responsible for the Dolphins first run with an RBI sacrifice bunt in the bottom of the 2nd.

CMSV took their first lead in the 5th inning on an RBI single by Luis Alvarado.

Siddeeq Ali came in to relieve Glazer and pitched 3.2 innings of one-run ball until running into trouble in the 10th, when the Panthers scored 6 runs, four of which were charged to Ali.
