VALHALLA, NY - The CMSV Baseball team returned to the diamond on Tuesday afternoon, traveling to Westchester Community College, to host Lehman College in a non-conference single game matchup. The Dolphins committed 10 errors and allowed 23 runs, falling 23-3 to the Lightning and now sit at 8-21 on the season.
The Lightning put two runs on the board in the first inning, two more in the third and and added one in the 5th, two in the 6th and six in the 7th, all coming before the Mount could score one run.
The Dolphins scored three runs in the bottom of the 7th. The inning started with
Brandon Pasquale getting on-base via hit by pitch. He would come around to score two batters later on a
James Valenti RBI single down the right field line. The next run would come via the feet of
Emanuel Giumarra, who scored from third on a passed ball.
Honorio Pena would ground into a fielders choice, which allowed Valenti to score and give the Mount three runs.
Siddeeq Ali started for the Dolphins, going 6 innings, giving up seven hits and seven runs (3 earned), while striking out five batters.

Zachary Farkas pitched the final three innings in relief of Ali.
