WAYNE, NJ - The CMSV Men's Soccer team returned to the pitch Wednesday evening, taking on non-conference foe William Paterson, with the Dolphins seeking their first victory of the season. WPU proved to be too strong using a five goal second half to defeat the Mount 6-0.
The Dolphins surrendered only one goal in the first half and matched the hosts in total shots with four while putting three on goal. But WPU was led by Keysean Brant-Sharp who netted a hat trick with goals in the 28', 51' and 77'.
The second half was dominated by the Pioneers as they out-shot CMSV 17-1.
Andrew Gomez and
Kevin Jardines were the only Mount players to record shots on goal, with Gomez putting two on net and Jardines putting one.
The Dolphins will host New School on Saturday at 12pm in the home opener at Marillac Field.
