RIVERDALE, NY - The CMSV Dolphins had all five of the fall sports in action on Saturday, with the Men's Soccer team hosting The New School, the Women's Soccer team traveling to Pennsylvania to take on Neumann University, the Women's Volleyball team in New Jersey taking on William Paterson and the Men's & Women's Cross Country teams in action at the Purchase College Invitational.
CMSV vs. The New School - 9-1, Win
The Dolphins had their best offensive showing of the young season, scoring nine goals and putting 14 shots on goal.
Pablo Tellez netted his first career hat trick and an assist, while
Kevin Jardines added two goals and an assist with
Joseph Llamuca,
Andrew Gomez,
Julius Tumukunde and
Rodrigo Silva adding one goal apiece for the Dolphins.
CMSV controlled possession for most of the game and allowed New School to only take four total shots, with two being on target.
CMSV vs. Neumann University - 2-1, Win
Coming off an 11 goal romp two days prior, the Women's Soccer team, scored two early first half goals in the 8' & 13' to win their second game in a row.
Julia McGowan scored the first Dolphins goal in the 8' on a cross by
Kelly Gibison, the teams first attacking opportunity of the game. Less than five minutes later, freshman
Jenna McDonnell scored her first career goal.

Elizabeth Martin was called on to make three first half saves and one in the second half, as CMSV controlled possession and their defense forced off target shots.
CMSV vs. William Paterson - 1-3, Loss
The CMSV Women's Volleyball team took on William Paterson in a non-conference road matchup Saturday morning, falling to Pioneers 3-1.
The Dolphins took the first set 25-20, thanks to a great team attack, which tallied 14 kills and a .250 hitting pct.
Tara Maloney tallied five kills, while
Nichole Riehm added four. Freshman
Jacqui Johnston added one solo block and two kills to help the Dolphins.
WPU took the final three sets to finish off the Dolphins but in the 22-25 defeat in the third, the Dolphins had by far their best attacking set of the season. They compiled 16 kills, which is a set-season high, with Maloney contributing nine of the 16.
Women's Cross Country - 9th Place - Purchase Invitational
For the second week in a row, sophomore Lauramae Coochi took home 1
st place in the women's Cross Country event. The CMSV two-sport star, won the 85 athlete race with a time of, 21:07.7, beating second place by just over 10 seconds.

Men's Cross Country - 8th Place - Purchase Invitational
With six runners in a 72 person race, the Dolphins were led by last year's top runner
Patrick Goldberg, making his first appearance of the 2016 season. The junior led the team with an 18
th place finish, completing the 8K course with a time of 32:02.3.
