BETHLEHEM, PA - The CMSV Women's soccer team returned to action Saturday night as they took on Moravian in a non-conference matchup at John Makuvek Field.
After shutting out the Greyhounds over the first 45' thanks to Mount keeper
Elizabeth Martin stopping all six shots that tested her. Martin was finally solved less than three minutes into the second half when she was beaten by a hard shot from the right side of the net to put Moravian up 1-0
The Greyhounds would get two more in the second half to take a 3-0 lead on CMSV.
Substitute
Alicia Forgione tied for the team lead in shots, and would score the lone goal for the Mount on the day in the 78'. The junior would score off a rebound from her own shot, that she put past the keeper to make it 3-1. CMSV had one more shot on goal which came in the final seconds of the game but was saved by the Greyhounds keeper.
