PURCHASE, NY - The CMSV Baseball team returned to action Saturday afternoon in a Skyline Conference doubleheader against Purchase College. The start of the first game was delayed two hours because of rain but when play began, the Panthers took both games from the Dolphins dropping CMSV's record to 2-11 overall.
Purchase 11 CMSV 1 - Game 1
In game one, the Dolphins managed to scratch out three hits off of Panthers starter Miguel Reyes.

Evan Brown lasted only 2.1 innings, giving up four earned runs on nine hits.
Tyler Krolikowski came in to relieve Brown in the third and pitched 2.2 innings, giving up four earned runs while only giving up one hit.
CMSV scored their lone run in the top of the fifth inning. Joe Senisi led-off the inning with a bunt single and would later come around to score when
Michael Kochen hit into a fielders choice, forcing
Xavier Ruiz at second but an errant throw by Purchase allowed Senisi to score from second.
Purchase 10 CMSV 4 - Game 2
In game two, the Dolphins managed to get five hits and score four runs off of Panthers starter Lukas Chin, chasing him from the game in the fifth inning.
CMSV scored one run in the third inning on an RBI groundout by
Steven Giustino to make the score 7-1.
In the fifth inning the Dolphins scored three runs on three hits. Ruiz led off the inning with a walk, then take second on a wild pitch then steal third, setting up
Craig Weber. Weber delivered, smacking an RBI single to center field to make the score 7-2.
Weber would advance to third on a single by Matt Nesensohn and later come around to score on an RBI single by Giustino. Nesensohn scored when the next batter,
Keith Brodesser singled to right to cut the Panthers lead to 7-4.
The Panthers would erase the runs put on the board by the Dolphins in their half of the fifth inning, scoring three runs to take a 10-4 lead.
The Dolphins return to action Saturday April 9 when they will host Maritime College in a doubleheader.
