NAPLES, FL - The CMSV Baseball team wrapped up play at the 2016 RussMatt Invitational Thursday morning, taking on Loras College. The Dolphins lost, 10-1 pushing their record to 1-8 on the season.

CMSV scored the first run of the game thanks to some sloppy defense. Keith Schroeher, smashed a double to left and then advanced to third on a wild pitch and came around to score when the catcher airmailed the throw to third, giving CMSV a 1-0 lead.

That would be all the runs the Dolphins would manage to get off of the Loras starter who pitched 8 innings, giving up only three hits while striking out 15 batters.

The Dolphins return to action Wednesday March 30 when they will take on College of Staten Island in a doubleheader starting at 5pm.
