RIVERDALE, NY - The CMSV men's volleyball team returned to action Thursday night, hosting CCNY in a non-conference matchup. The Dolphins won their 12th match of the season, defeating the Beavers 3-0.
CMSV dominated in all aspects of the game, smashing 38 kills to CCNY's 21, serving eight aces to three and having four more blocks than the visitors.
Tyler Cucullu and
Neven Skoblar each had 12 kills while
Sean O'Connor added seven. Cucullu also added five aces and two total blocks, while Skoblar added two kills and two total blocks.
The Dolphins won 10 of the first 13 points in the first set and smashed 11 kills while hitting .474% while CCNY only hit five kills with a -.154 hitting percentage.
The Dolphins also controlled play in the second set smashing 15 kills to CCNY's nine.
CMSV returns to action Tuesday March 30 when they will host Kean University in a key Skyline Conference matchup.
