KINGS POINT, NY - The CMSV men's lacrosse team dropped their third game in a row Thursday night falling 21-6 to the US Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). The loss puts the Dolphins record at 1-5 on the season.
Germain Ngaba netted three more goals for the Dolphins, bringing his season total to 14.
Adam Aliotta,
Ken Brown-Oda and
Jared Mackey also added goals on the night.
The Mariners jumped out to an early and led 3-0 less than five minutes into the game. CMSV scored the next three goals to tie the game at 3 apiece after the first 15 minutes of play.
In the second period USMMA dominated scoring 11 goals in the period and putting 28 of their 16 shots on goal.
In the second half, the Dolphins were outscored 7-1 and managed to take only four shots in the final 30 minutes of play.
CMSV returns to action Saturday when they will host Manhattanville at 1pm.
