RIVERDALE, NY - The CMSV Women's Basketball team returned to action for their final home game of the fall semester on Tuesday night, hosting non-conference foe York College. The Dolphins dominated the Cardinals from the opening tip and cruised to a 90-40 win, evening the teams record at 5-5 on the season. 

The Dolphins, winners of four of their last five games, were led by seniors Brittany Carroll, who poured in a game-high 19 points, while Christina Barone added in 18 points. Ryan Doherty was solid all around tallying 11 points, six assists and three rebounds. Dez Browne grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds, giving her double-digit rebounds for the second time in her last three games. 

The Mount came out firing on all cylinders connecting on 51% of their shots from the field and 53% of their shots from 3-point land. They shared the ball extremely well, assisting on 28 of their 34 made field goals. 

Carroll and Barone each made four three pointers in the first half, with Carroll having a perfect shooting half, going 4-for-4 from three and 2-for-2 from the free throw line. 

Not only was the offense strong throughout the first half but the Dolphins defense was solid as well, holding the visitors to 21% shooting from the field, while forcing 12 turnovers in the first 20 minutes of the game.
