NEW YORK, NY - The CMSV Men's Soccer team returned to action for the second game in as many days, as they traveled to Randall's Island to take on non-conference opponent Hunter College. Despte netting the first goal, the Dolphins dropped a 3-1 decision. The loss drops CMSV to 6-10-1 overall.
Jair Magallan started the scoring off for the visitors in the 11' when he headed home his team leading 7th goal of the season off a pass from
Kevin Jardines.
The Dolphins attempted four shots in the first half, with all four being on target.
The Hawks tied the game in the 31' thanks to Bryan Suetegaray who headed his shot past CMSV keeper
Rich Diodati, in total, the Dolphins keeper made seven saves while playing all 90 minutes.
The home side went ahead just 33 seconds into the second half when Jesus Patino Muniz scored his first of two on the day. He added his second of the day in the 56' to give the Hawks a 3-1, which proved to much for the Dolphins to overcome.
