Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. – Led by a pair of strong pitching performances on Saturday afternoon, the College of Mount Saint Vincent Baseball team swept a road conference doubleheader at Mount Saint Mary by scores of 6-2 and 7-1. Junior
Tyler Krolikowski (Massapequa, N.Y.) struck out 10 in 7.0 innings of work in the opener, while
Robert Negron (Bronx, N.Y.) worked his team leading third complete game of the season in game two.

The Mount scored the deciding run of game one in the third inning on a Steven Giusitino (Old Bethpage, N.Y.) run scoring single and picked up an insurance run in the fourth frame when Pace doubled home
Joseph Senisi (Brooklyn, N.Y.) to open a 4-0 lead.

The Knights sliced their deficit in half with single runs in the fifth and sixth innings on Saturday, before the Dolphins spread their lead back to four runs with two more tallies in the top half of the eighth inning. Senisi scored an unearned run to open the scoring in the frame and
Keith Brodesser (Copiague, N.Y.) delivered
Casey Surdi (West Islip, N.Y.) with an RBI single to close out the scoring in the game.

Brodesser finished game one 2-for-4 with an RBI with Pace and
Keith Schroeher (Riverhead, N.Y.) each doubling. Schroeher and Senisi each scored two runs for the Dolphins in the game and Surdi added a run scored and drew two walks.

Krolikowski moved to 4-1 on the season with 7.0 strong innings of work for the Dolphins in Saturday's opener. He surrendered two runs on four hits and struck out 10 Mount Saint Mary batters. It was the second time in 2015 that Krolikowski fanned at least 10 batters in a game and he leads the team in the category with 38 in 28.2 innings pitched. Freshman Nicholas Recrate (Hackensack, N.J.) came on to get the final six outs in game one, striking out two.
In game two, Mount Saint Vincent was held off the board in just one at-bat, plating single runs in five at-bats and plating two runs in the third inning. Pace scored the first run on a passed ball and the two runs in the third scored on a Mount Saint Mary miscue to give the Dolphins a 3-0 lead.

Pace added a sacrifice fly for the Mount in the fourth and delivered Crsitian Lynch (Mastic, N.Y.) with a run scoring single in the sixth.
Craig Weber (Mineola, N.Y.) recorded an RBI double for the Dolphins in the fifth inning and Giustino drove in
Michael Kuczinski (Millstone Twp., N.J.) with a single in the seventh inning.

Mount Saint Vincent outhit Mount Saint Mary 8-2 in game two on Saturday with Pace, Giustino and Weber all finishing with two hits. Giusitino and Weber each doubled and Pace added a triple, two runs and a pair of RBI. Kuczinski tripled for the Dolphins and scored a run.

Negron finished off his team leading third complete game for the Dolphins, giving up just one unearned run on a pair of base hits. He struck out eight Mount Saint Mary batters and issued three walks.

Saturday sweep moves Mount Saint Vincent to 10-24 overall and to 7-7 in Skyline Conference play. By virtue of Maritime's split with Farmingdale State Saturday, the Dolphins were eliminated from Skyline Conference Tournament contention.Â
