Mount Saint Vincent fell behind early on Friday after the Rams plated three runs in their first at-bat. Farmingdale State recorded just one hit in the inning, getting a two-run home run from Andrea Klarman following a lead-off walk. Meghan Acton added a sacrifice fly for the Rams in the inning.

The Rams added two more runs in the second inning on a two-run double from Michelle Mongiello and added three more tallies in the fourth to close out the scoring in the game. Marissa Monaco and Aacton produced run scoring base hits for the Rams in the frame.

Mount Saint Vincent was outhit 6-2 in the game and committed four errors leading to four unearned runs. Davis and Heizer each singled for the Dolphins, accounting for the team's only two base runners of the game.

Six different players recorded a hit for Farmingdale State on Friday with Meagan Anderson and Klarman each scoring three runs. Klarman, Mongiello and Acton all drove in a pair of runs for the Rams with Anderson drawing a pair of walks.

Heizer suffered the loss on Friday and fell to 9-7 on the year, working her team leading 10
th complete game of the season. She allowed four earned runs on eight hits in the game, striking out one and walking four. Taylor Webb moved to 7-3 for the Rams with the shutout, allowing two hits and fanning five.

Friday's loss drops Mount Saint Vincent to 14-19 overall on the season. The Dolphins will continue play in the conference tournament on Saturday afternoon when they take on Sage in an elimination game. First pitch on the campus of Mount Saint Mary is set for 1:00 p.m.
